Inaugural
Golden Heart Awards Gala
On March 12, 2016 State of the Heart Care will present the first annual
Golden Heart Awards Gala. This event, held at the Towne Square
Community Centre in Winchester, Indiana will serve as an opportunity to
celebrate our expansion into palliative and pre-hospice care. In
addition, it will allow us to celebrate collaboration within the
healthcare community, without which we would never succeed in our
mission to provide quality end of life care.
The Golden Heart Gala will be a black-tie (optional) event full of
music, dancing, food, fundraising, and great networking and comradery.
There will be a silent auction to raise funds for our children’s
bereavement camp, Camp enCOURAGE (formerly known as Camp Bearable). We
will have a paddle raise to raise money for our Corynna’s Wish
program—which is State of the Heart’s own version of the Make-a-Wish
foundation. We’ll have a wine grab to generate support for our
inpatient care unit, and finally we’re raffling off a vacation which
will generate funds to help us in our expansion into palliative and
pre-hospice care. Money from event ticket sales, as well as event
sponsorships will go towards our expanded services as well.
As respected members of the press and our community, we would be
honored if someone from your agency would attend our Gala. We are
offering 1 FREE ticket to our event for a member of your team. As
mentioned, we are celebrating collaboration in the healthcare
community. We have solicited nominations and are giving out 3
awards to members of the healthcare community: 1 for a physician, 1
Facility and 1 Healthcare worker. We want to ensure that the
award winners are given the publicity they deserve.
