Essential Oils
Class at Library
Essential oils have been used for millennia as a powerful form of
healing and as a way to enrich physical, mental, emotional, and
spiritual well-being. The Greenville Public Library is proud to
host a presentation by Debbie Mitchell on the principles and facts
about essential oils - what they are, how to use them, when to use
them, and why to use them! This free event is scheduled for
Wednesday July 13th at 6:00 p.m. Seating is limited to 45
participants.
Debbie is the owner of Greenville Health Shoppe at 628 Wagner Avenue
which she started 24 years ago. The services she offers include
Reflexology, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Aromatherapy, and other mind-body
modalities. A wide variety of foods, herbs, vitamins, and
formulas are available from popular product lines such as Young Living
Essential Oils, Nature Sunshine, Enzymatic Therapy, NOW, Nutra,
Solaray, and Melalecu. Debbie is well educated and trained in all
these areas.
Debbie explains that we must all take responsibility for ourselves and
have healthy habits rather than rely on too many medications.
Often we don’t know how to process our emotions so that they can become
negative and detrimental to health. She says an emotion is energy
in motion and responsibility is the ability to respond. This
point of view empowers us to take positive, practical actions on our
own behalf.
The use of essential oils can be part of that action. Debbie
describes how an oil works in that its molecules piggy-back onto the
cells of the body and go deeply into the body’s tissues where they
affect healing by re-aligning the molecules of a troubled area.
Many medicines use the same molecules but in an unnatural form which
cannot reach as deeply. An essential oil not only smells good but
has a chemistry that heals!
Debbie asks that you bring your questions and concerns to discuss after
her talk. Don’t miss this educational and inspiring
program. Light refreshments will be served.
