Weekend in Greenville
Popcorn & Prohibition Friday night; Rolling 50's Classics Fall
Cruise-In Car Show Saturday...
Step into the past this weekend in Darke County as Greenville
transforms into the 1920's on First Friday's Popcorn & Prohibition,
complete with secret speakeasys stocked by local craft breweries and
multiple jazz bands, and stay till Saturday to time travel to the
1950's as Downtown Greenville fills with hot rods.
Friday Night:
Popcorn & Prohibition
The 1920s are returning to downtown Greenville during Main Street
Greenville's September First Friday event! This event is brand new for
2018 and will tell the story of Ida Thomas, Greenville's "Popcorn
Lady." This local legend has been all but forgotten by most, but we
hope to tell her story and celebrate the spirit of the time by giving
away lots of free popcorn, featuring multiple jazz bands, hosting
secret speakeasys stocked by local craft breweries, creating a
kid-friendly "dry zone," and much more!
Friday, September 7, 6PM-9PM, Downtown Greenville,

miss it!
