Darke County Parks
Passport
to the Park Series
Join us all spring for our new Passport to Park Series! The first
chance to get your very own passport stamped is March 21 at 6pm. Space
is filling quickly so don’t miss this opportunity to get outside and
complete the goal!
There is more to your parks than Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Rediscover
the history of the Darke County Parks as we tour all 1100 acres of
preserved land across the county. From woodland to wetland to prairie
we will trek to fill in our passports with stamps from every stop along
the way. At the end, receive the Grand Stamp proving you have visited
them all! If you receive the Grand Stamp, you will be rewarded for all
of your hiking with a custom-made walking stick with the park’s
logo/grand stamp design burned or carved into the staff. There is a
one-time fee of $10 for this program.
Visit http://www.darkecountyparks.org/ to create an account and
register today! Alternatively, you can register via phone
(937-548-0165) or in person at the Nature Center.
