Darke County Treasurer Scott Zumbrink reported that to date the county
has collected $19,825,000 in property taxes, with a delinquency rate of
4 percent. Darke County Municipal Court Judge, Julie Monnin, told the
group that third, fourth and fifth graders from Montessori recently
visited her courtroom… and got quite a surprise. “Their eyeballs were
huge,” she said. “These were real people – real cases – they saw coming
