“90 Years of Service” A History of the
Greenville Kiwanis Club
1921 through 2010 - Compiled by: William T. Maxwell and W. Roy Haines
The 1990’s - In the 1990’s, the Club meeting place went from the
Greenville Inn back to The Elks Lodge. In spite of the various moves
over the years, the meeting date has been consistent… Wednesday from
12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The only regular change is during “The Great
Darke County Fair” in August when for one week we have no meeting as
Club members tending Fair Gate No. 5. Over the years, our Club
membership has gone from 28 members to a high of 99. For some reason we
never could break the 100 mark. During the 90’s, the Club dropped
staffing Fair Gate No. 3, but... Read More. See More Community.

KASICH'S FIRST
100 DAYS
|
Columbus Dispatch...
No surprise
Gov. John Kasich’s first 100 days set course for eventful term
John Kasich marked his first 100 days in office last week, a
gubernatorial milepost that, in his case, does not end a political
honeymoon. The differences - with unions and Democrats, especially -
started before he took office. Those who voted for Kasich and now say
they’re angry must not have paid attention to his campaign. Kasich was

happening now. What caused a rift so deep among Americans...

young American Jew who spoke Hebrew and Russian and who practiced
Judaism. My task was to bring Jewish religious items into the Soviet
Union and the names of Jews who wished to leave the Soviet Union out of
that... Read
