Whirlpool Looks to New Project in 2012
GREENVILLE- The KitchenAid division of Whirlpool in Greenville
continues to create opportunity for the local community as project
plans for 2012 took another step forward this week in Columbus where
the company was approved for state tax credits based on job creation.
Whirlpool has already expanded its manufacturing facility during the
current year. On Monday, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority issued a job
creation tax credit of 45% over 5 years based on the company’s
projected hiring in connection with the development of a new product
