a colleague’s introductory art course after he had emergency surgery –
and my plate was full. Most of you already know I’m an adjunct
instructor at Edison Community College. Have been for nearly 10 years.
Forever being... Read More. More Opinion. |

The Little Match Girl
By Hans Christian Anderson
It was New Year’s Eve and the snowclad streets were deserted. From
brightly lit windows came the tinkle of laughter and the sound of
singing. People were getting ready to bring in the New Year. But the
poor little matchseller sat sadly beside the fountain. Her ragged dress
and worn shawl did not keep out the cold and she tried to keep her bare
feet from... Read More. More Community.

Mr. President has a Little Stick
by Bob Beauprez
U.S. officials have confirmed that Iran has recovered an American top
secret RQ-170 drone. The drone reportedly went down near Kashmar
in northeastern Iran about 120 miles from the Afghanistan border after
U.S. remote pilots “lost control” of the unmanned state-of-the-art
vehicle. Contrary to early Iranian claims that they had shot down the
drone, televised images show the... Read More. More Blogs. |

love teaching… it’s something I’d always planned on doing upon
retiring. Not many people get to finish their career doing what they
love… then retire doing what they love. May I wish the same for all of
our readers during this Christmas Holiday Season. Also in News: House Republicans move to unify primary, avoid $15 million second vote; and Conservative pundits turn down Newt.
