Biddlestone sets up annual “In Memoriam” Scholarship

DARKE COUNTY – Local businessman Darrell Biddlestone, and his wife Debbie, awarded their first Annual “In Memoriam” Scholarship check to the Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund recently. The annual scholarship was established to honor Biddlestone’s mentor, the late Ralph “Fred” Wright, who passed away in August 2006. The “In Memoriam” donation will be specifically noted when the Directors award it to a Darke County teen seeking an education in a communications related field. “He did so many things to support this... We are a nation of excesses… excess drinking, eating, junk foods… even dieting or exercise. All good, or okay, in moderation but potentially harmful in excess.
