Annie Oakley Days begins with Competition

Miss Annie Oakley, Ruby Jo Walls
- It’s that time of year again. Twelve contestants will be vying for
the title Miss Annie Oakley 2011 beginning July 27. Preliminaries will
take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday (27th), and Miss Annie Oakley 2011 will
be named following the elimination contest starting at 6 p.m. on
Thursday. She will be on hand for the opening of the 48th annual Annie
Oakley Days at the Darke County Fairgrounds Friday morning. Thursday
evening, Miss Annie Oakley 2010, Ansonia’s Ruby Jo Walls, will present
