Use of Cover Crops
by Justin Petrosino, ANR Extension Educator
For my column this week I’m adapting an article written by the great
Roger Bender, AgNR of Shelby County. I was going to cover the topic but
Roger did such a great job that there is no need for me to reinvent the
wheel. I simply polished it to a high gloss for our Darke County
farmers. In recent years... Read More. See More Community.

Time for GOP To
Implement Full-Frontal Budget Assault
By David Limbaugh
My advice for the GOP: No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more putting the
pretense of civility above the best interests of the nation. Democrats

Senate Democrats haven?t passed their own budget plan in...

THE PARTY OF NO
|
Daily
Events...
Fridays with
Erick Erickson
Back in 2009 and 2010, the chattering class labeled the Republican
Party “unserious.” It was the Party of No. It had no plans
to fix the healthcare crisis. It had no plans to fix the economic
crisis. It had nothing. The chattering class held firm in the
conviction that voters would reject the Republican Party because it was
unserious and lacked any sort of plan. But the GOP did have a
plan. The Democrats and their friends in the... Read

NOTES
FROM
THE
EDITOR - TODAY IS THURSDAY, JUNE 2,
2011 |
I finally saw some farmers getting ready to plant… it’s been a tough
start to the growing season. Hopefully they’ll still get good crops
this year. Lots of good Community stuff today. Wish I could say the
same about Washington. In the News: Mortgage rates drop again; Social media use by retailers soars; and Coach Jim Tressel out at Ohio State. Events: Your Pet can be a star. Blogs: STOP Deliberately Misleading Americans on Energy; Obama 2012 Win a Sure Thing? and Dems: Greed is Good as a Tax Credit. For
