Our last surviving WWI Veteran, passed away at the age of 110. He was 16 years old when he lied about his age to enlist. According to an AP story, one of the things he wanted to see was a memorial for WWI veterans… and was sad that it didn’t happen. See the tribute to him in News by Redstate. And Bob Rhoades sheds more light on the role another institution – lobbies – has played on budget problems. In News: Our last WWI vet passes away at age 110 and Governors differ on extent of flexibility for Medicaid. Events: Livestock Mortality Composting Workshop set for March 15. Blogs: Have You Noticed That “Big Government” Is Failing Everywhere? Obituaries: Jerome Louis Brunswick, Diane Ruth Melot, Connie Schmidt Waggoner. For Yesterday's Home Page Click Here.
