Greenville Eighth Graders take top POP
honors at Regional Tournament

Greenville Junior High School eighth grader Christal Smith took the
First Place Trophy for Individual Scores home at the Power of the Pen
Regional Tournament in Minster Saturday. She qualifies to compete in
the POP State Tournament in Columbus in April. Also qualifying for
State is Kelly Snyder, eighth grader at DeColores Montessori School in
Greenville, who placed sixth in the individual competition. This is the
first Power of the Pen Tournament in which either student has competed.
