Memorial Hall… an interesting and varied history
Since its dedication in 1912, Memorial Hall has been an icon of Arts
and Education in Darke County, ranging from study hall space and
graduation exercises to countless music, stage, and recital
performances held “within its majestic walls.” According to Dr. Steve
Gruber, Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Education
Department at Cedarville University, an “incomplete” list for
Greenville School District alone includes classroom space for high
school and junior high bands and orchestras, vocational broadcasting

THAT'S MY OPINION
|
Give me some substance
By Bob Robinson
I believe most will agree that County News Online, under my
“leadership,” leans to the right. Some might say it has stepped off the
right-wing cliff, though I would disagree. I try to make sure that the

THE PAINFUL PROCESS OF "ASKING OUT"

Townhall...
Right of passage
By Paul Jacob
It’s that time, again: Young people in tuxedos and fancy dresses (and
stretch limos), celebrating their near-completion of a dozen years of
compulsory schooling with one big dance as they prepare to enter the
larger world. Thirty-three years ago, my wife went with me to our high
school senior prom on our first official date. That day marks the
jumping off point for a long and fruitful... Read

Obama’s phony oil company tax
By Dick Morris & Eileen McGann

fluctuations, President Obama is pushing anti-oil company rhetoric,
demanding increases in oil... Read
