‘Meet the Candidates’ the focus of the October meeting
The Darke County Republican Mens Club will present its annual “Meet the
Candidates” forum beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at the
Brethren Retirement Community Staff Cafeteria. Invited Republican
candidates include Jesse Green, Municipal Court Judge; Mike Bowers,
Greenville Mayor; Nancy Myers, Greenville Auditor; John Baumgardner
(Ward 4) and Clarence Godwin (Ward 1), Greenville City Council. Also
invited are Sen. Keith Faber, and Reps. Jim Buchy and Dick Adams, to
talk about state issues, primarily the highly contested Issue 2. Due
