Wave tops McClain on
homecoming night
By George Starks, Sports Editor
GREENVILLE - Homecoming proved to be a positive for Greenville Friday.
Coming off a loss the week before and having a three game winning

standing room only crowd on the home side, Greenville presented its
alumni with a 35-19 victory to go to 4-5 on the season. In a game that
saw over 200 yards in penalties (both teams combined) Greenville was
able to work through it. “It makes it double sweet for me when we win,
especially on homecoming night,” said Wave football coach and a Wave

Are you a pumpkin?
Submitted by Nadera Williams

An “Object Lesson” from the Senior Scribes... A woman was asked by a
coworker, ‘What is it like to be a Christian?’ The coworker replied,
‘It is like being a pumpkin.’ God picks you from the patch, brings you
in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and
scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate,
and greed. Then... Read More. More Senior Scribes.

individual patients it could only have come from government
bureaucrats. They recommended eliminating screening for the most common
cancer among males nationwide. The United States Preventative Services
Task Force (USPSTF) is composed of 16 government... Read More. More Blogs. |
