Payne, who is currently sitting as an appointed Greenville School Board
member and on the ballot for November’s election, removed himself from
the candidacy for the position. “I know it is too late to take my name
off the ballot,” Payne said. “But if by some fluke I am elected anyway,

We have Panda and Pepper at the Darke County Animal Shelter. They are
8-week-old Border Collie mixes. Panda is a boy and Pepper is a girl.
They are sweet little guys and love to play. They should grow to around
50 pounds. They will make wonderful companions and are ready for
