United in Remembrance
By Bob Robinson
War was declared on the United States of America 10 years ago. While

shock and disbelief. Each of us past our late teens or early twenties
has vivid memories of where we were, what we were doing… the emotions
that tore through us. When the shock had worn off, the nation moved
into... Read More. More Opinion.

By George Starks
Do you remember that day? I do and short of me having full blown
Alzheimers, I will never forget. It started off for me like any other
normal day. Sept. 11, 2001. I got out of bed, grabbed my coffee, did my
normal routine... getting ready for work. I arrived at work, coffee mug
in hand, clocked in and went to my everyday job, cutting gears in a
machine shop. That was the end of what would otherwise be a ‘normal’
day. It wasn’t long after the day... Read More. More Opinion.

ANSONIA- If Ansonia coach Eugene Hoening could have scripted the Tigers

Who Really Kept Us Safe After 9/11
By Steve Chapman
If there was any certainty in the weeks and months after the 9/11
attacks, it was that these were just the first in a campaign of terror
on American soil. “You can just about bet on it,” said Sen. Richard
Shelby, R-Ala., the ranking Republican on the Intelligence Committee.
New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said, “I anticipate another attack.” Gary
Stubblefield... Read More. More Blogs. |
