Antique Cars Cruise through Town
GREENVILLE – On Tuesday, September 20, the streets of downtown
Greenville will be lined with antique cars including Model A Fords,
Model T Fords, Overlands, McLaughlin-Buicks, Packards, Studebakers, a
Stevens Duryea and many more. Two car clubs are visiting our community
on that day to enjoy the Garst Museum, KitchenAid Experience and the
other quality shops and restaurants in downtown Greenville. The Ford
Model A Club is hosted by Joe and Pam Baxter and is comprised of 74
families and 99 Model A’s. They promote the interest, restoration,
preservation and enjoyment of the Model A Ford which was produced

Sheriff Toby Spencer guest speaker at Rep Men’s Club
Long time Darke County Sheriff Toby Spencer will be the guest speaker
at the Darke County Republican Men’s Club meeting on Saturday, Sept.
17. Spencer is scheduled to speak on the Department’s preparations for
the Darke County Fair. Long hours are worked by both full time Deputies
and the Darke County Sheriff’s Patrol during the entire 9-day event.

Today I went to downtown Greenville to see a ceremony and parade off of
Broadway as it commended the 10th Anniversary of 9-11. The ceremony
took place first at 2:00 p.m. and was followed by a parade at 2:30 p.m.
