From the editor… County News Online Candidate Questionnaire
Last month, County News Online sent out a questionnaire to each of the
candidates in three contested Primary elections: Darke County Clerk of
Courts, Darke County Juvenile/Probate Judge and Darke County
Commissioner. Candidates were given four questions with approximately a
month in which to respond. The questions were as follows: 1)
Personal and professional information about yourself; 2) Describe
the duties, as you see them, for the office you are seeking, and your
qualifications for fulfilling those duties; 3) What do you feel
are the top three challenges of the office that you can address better

weeks to election day. The Republican primary has three contested
races: Darke County Clerk of Courts, Darke County Juvenile/Probate
Judge and Darke County Commissioner. Today, County News Online offers
responses to its questionnaire from candidates for Clerk of Courts.
