Public Officials: Beware succumbing to human bias
By Jan Boyer, Senior Scribe
“Hiring a relative can be a felony,” stated Susan Willeke of the Ohio
Ethics Commission when she spoke to her audience on the subject of
Ethics in Political Office Thursday evening at the League of Women
Voters educational presentation. She continued that long gone are

grandfather, grandmother, son, daughter, grandchildren, brother, sister
or any relative living in one’s home, is today considered a
felony. In defining... Read

By Bob Robinson
“Somebody’s using my name and saying dumb stuff on one of those blogs

LACK OF INTENSITY NOTED BY COACH |
Lions no match for Patriots
By George Starks
TROY- First game sectional jitters for any team aren’t unusual. Even
for the best of teams. Saturday, it was no different for Tri-Village in
its opening game against Emmanuel Christian at Troy. Getting off to a

one frame. That 10 point advantage bloomed into an 83-48 victory over
the Lions. Led by Shade Brubaker, 23 points... Read

By George Starks
TROY- Senior Jaden Horner did his best to will Franklin Monroe to a

play, Horner drained his second trey of the quarter, closing the gap to
a point as the Jets trailed 42-41. That would be as close as Franklin
Monroe would get... Read
