Candidates Night to be held Feb. 27
The upcoming 2012 primary election was the focus of League of Women of
Darke County as they met at the Law Library to make plans for a
candidates night before that crucial event on March 6. As is their
usual practice, the LWV is planning to hold this Candidates Night the
week before the primary, February 27 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion
on Ohio Street. The public is invited to attend and submit

Rollover Accident on 571
On January 12, 2012 at 8:07 PM, Darke County Deputies, along with
Greenville Township Fire Department and Greenville Rescue were
dispatched to the 2700 block of State Route 571 for a rollover accident
with entrapment. Investigation revealed that Jacob Hill, 19, of
Greenville was eastbound on State Route 571 when he lost control of his
