Education: Colleges should pay kids; kids pay employers
By Bob Robinson

on Fox Saturday night. Actually, I saw the first 20 minutes as I was
winding down to go to sleep… then I saw the first 20 minutes again when
I woke up at 5 a.m. I never see a full program any more… it’s usually
15-20 minutes before I go to sleep and 15-20 minutes while I wake up
enough to start my morning coffee. I digress. I’m a criminal because I
use (and have used) interns today and throughout most of my... Read

BASEBALL TRULY A GAME OF INCHES |
Cincinnati Reds...
Reds win on walk-off homer in the tenth
CINCINNATI -- It’s a cliché, but Ryan Ludwick proved on Saturday that
baseball truly is a game of inches. He lined a 3-2 slider 346 feet to
left field, clearing the wall with just inches to spare to give the
Reds a 3-2 walk-off win against the Cardinals in the 10th inning at
Great American Ball Park. “That thing got over by about a half-inch.
So, I’ll take it,” said... Read

FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - MONDAY, JULY 16,

I
couldn’t believe it. I found out Saturday night that allowing interns
to get experience and learn the ins and outs of their field is illegal
unless they are paid minimum wage. I’ve long suspected it but this
proves it. There are two universes playing tug-of-war in our country.
One is in Washington; the other is the rest of us. Also in Blogs: Court says nonunion members can opt out of union fees. News: Sheriff: ATV accident; Competitive bidding for agency radios. Sports: Saldana captures Night before Kings Royal. Obituaries: Velma L. Locke; Norma Jean Ryan; Vincent Anthony Gragorace. For
