So many talents in so many areas
Even ‘The Old Man’ can learn something new…
By Bob Robinson
I’ve been privileged in my personal and professional life. Not many
people can say they have two great families, some good friends, a wide

with another “job” he loves and the unique experience of sharing his
knowledge (and the mistakes to avoid) with younger... Read

CEOs say government fiscal flux a black cloud over hiring, sales
by Kent Hoover
The CEOs of the nation’s largest corporations are dialing back their
expectations for sales, hiring and capital investment -- and it’s
largely Washington’s fault. That’s the message from the latest survey
of Business Roundtable members. The second-quarter... Read

VERITIES & BALDERDASH

The dog-eat-dog world of corporate life
Edited by Bob Robinson
There isn’t much to say about this one… the photos pretty much speak
for themselves. I got this from a reader a while back and finally had
time to format the photos. I’ve spent more time than I would like to
admit working with people who come to mind with every picture in this
set… from the CEO to the administrative assistant to... Read

THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - TODAY IS THURSDAY, JUNE 28,

Today’s
opinion has been on my mind for quite a while… just never knew exactly
how to put it together. And what was my point? Today I figured it out,
or at least I think I did. I’m tired of hearing about the kids that
cause problems. It’s about time that somebody talked about the kids
that are going to try to solve the problems WE created. Also in News: Business social media use is highest by far on Facebook. Sports: Reds can’t complete sweep of Brewers. Events: Cancer Support Group cancelled for July 5, 2012. Blogs: Tax Cuts for the Rich – Bad; Subsidies – Good. For
