industries working exclusively from one another. Instead, many
industries that we depend on to make our daily lives easier are
intertwined and dependent on each other. Agriculture might have more of
a hand in this cohesion than any other industry. Besides generating

FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - TODAY IS SUNDAY, MARCH 11,
2012 |
I
was in Sidney today, one of four Best of Round judges for the Power of
the Pen Regional Tournament. Imagine writing a narrative based on the
word “Outnumbered,” or the question “Why is there no picture in the
empty gold frame?” or “Obsessed… with what?” Seventh and eighth graders
did… with humor, drama and a few tears here and there. As always, a
rewarding experience. Also in News: Candidate: Kasich allies offered a deal if he quit race. Events: Darke County Center for the Arts Special Meeting. Blogs: The Audacity of Mediocrity. Obituaries: Ellen F. Peters. For
