Spring Sports starts today

DARKE COUNTY- With the winter sports season in the books, the scene
shifts back outside as track, baseball, softball and tennis will get
underway. Today will see a loaded schedule staring at 9 a.m. in
Versailles with the Lady Tiger Classique track meet. Along with host
Versailles, Franklin Monroe, Greenville, Arcanum and Ansonia will
participate. Also on the schedule for today, Lady Wave softball will
host a triple header starting at noon with Milton Union and Wayne.

ceremonies Friday for the 50th Annual Darke County Sheriff’s Patrol
Home & Sports Show at the Darke County Fairgrounds. The Home

Annual Home & Sports Show started Friday evening and continues
through today and tomorrow. This is one of the major fundraisers of the
Darke County Sheriff’s Patrol… I have nothing but praise for this group
of individuals who not only volunteer to serve us but handle their own
expenses to do it. If you get a chance, head out to the fairgrounds and
