Be a Good Citizen, Be a Poll Worker on Election Day
As the state’s chief elections officer, I am responsible for
administering a fair election where eligible voters can freely exercise
their right to vote and have confidence in the accuracy of the results.
This is no simple job. As Ohio’s elections officials are working to
prepare for the 2012 Presidential Election, the political rhetoric on
both sides is heating up. One side believes the law is too... Read

FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - TODAY IS MONDAY, MAY 14,
2012 |
I
hope all mothers – young and old – had a great day yesterday. The debt
society owes to you for the hard work – and YES, it IS hard work –
raising your families can never be repaid. How do I know it’s hard
work? I’m into my second time around watching a loving ‘Mom’ at work,
this time in her roll as Nana. My granddaughter has the best of two
worlds… all children should be so lucky. Also in News: Poll: Ohioans want income-tax cut from ‘frack’ tax hike. Events: Darke County Parks... Volunteers needed for Nature Day, May 26. Blogs: Has Anyone Seen Republican Leadership? Obituaries: Elmira C. Kindell. For
