Swisher named new AD at Greenville
GREENVILLE - It didn’t take the Greenville Board of Education long to
get a replacement for former Athletic Director TJ Powers. In a decision
that took the BOE two hours to decide on in executive session, it was
finally decided that long time Versailles AD, Randy Swisher would be
the new Athletic Director. This coming on the heels of the board
turning down wrestling coach and assistant football coach, John Shutts.
The new vote was taken after the previously recommended candidate, John

excitement never ceases Greenville Schools. The District now has a new
AD… the retiring Versailles AD, Randy Swisher. I understand Versailles
has a top flight sports program, but I’m a fish out of water in that
