Halloween pranks elicited discipline, not the law
By Sharon Hopper
I have to look back a long way to find all these stories, but I
remember a happy childhood, without the word stress or any of these
other new fangled diseases being mentioned. This time of year
especially brings forth memories of Halloween pranks that we did. And
believe it or not we were not even arrested or tagged as delinquent

NOTES
& THOUGHTS
FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5,
2012 |
On
Tuesday morning, some students in my class had just found out that
Tyler Kuhn had died tragically in an auto accident. They had to leave.
The next day I saw messages to Tyler marked on the rear windows of
vehicles at GHS. Thursday morning I received the following from
Elizabeth Horner from London, England: “Today we wore green to honor
Tyler Kuhn, a member of Greenville High School Class of 2012. It seems
impossible that one moment can erase a lifetime of future memories.
Rest in peace, Tyler.” In Events: Edison 5k for cancer; Greenville Boosters. News: Senate hinges on New England, Ohioans fed up with political ads. Sports: Bradford king, queen named. Obituaries: John Edward “Jack” DeLaet; Patricia A. Nickson. For
