Driving in the Romney Motorcade
A firsthand experience inside a Presidential campaign
By Lyn Bliss
“Going to the Republican Convention was VERY exciting -- but today
starts something that, to me, is even more exciting... will be leaving
soon to drive in the Romney motorcade as Gov. Romney visits Ohio. Will
be with them until late Thursday. It will be something to be where the
inside of a Presidential campaign can be experienced...

THE DARKE KNIGHT
Biden’s Vaudeville Act
I read E-Bobs comments Friday night following the Biden-Ryan debate.
Disgusted is being generous. I vascillated between being ashamed and
wanting to throw up. This clown IS the sitting Vice President of the
United States of America. On Thursday night he put on a sideshow in a
contest discussing crucial topics of national importance. He made... Read

By George Starks
BROOKVILLE- At the time of the sectional volleyball draw, both Anna and
Arcanum had nearly identical records. The Trojans were 12-6 while the

DARKE COUNTY COMMISSIONER
Comments, I get Comments
By Mike Stegall
Over a month ago I put forth the idea of Darke County looking into the
possibility of doing a joint Fire District, or EMA District, or
both. I stated that I thought that because of rising costs it
might be the time to check into the possibilities. I then asked
for people’s comments, good or bad, and to let me know what they
thought. Boy, did I get comments! I knew that this was a hot
button issue... Read

Watching Joe Biden Is like watching ego in motion
By Sonja Eddings Brown
Joe is always JOE. The Obama campaign pulled him out of travel
and campaigning for SIX SOLID DAYS to prep him for this week’s Vice

NOTES
& THOUGHTS
FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - MONDAY, OCTOBER 15,
2012
Editor’s
Photo: The Internet is buzzing over the Biden-Ryan debate… most of it
derogatory toward the Vice President (I looked for positives… found a
couple but they were far outnumbered by the negative). As could be
expected, the Darke Knight is putting in “his” two cents worth.
Politically speaking, that debate probably means little to nothing.
