American Uniqueness

“furiner and a snake in the grass” (once coined by a local official a
few years ago) and have only been fortunate enough to be around for the
last dozen years... read

OHIO SECRETARY OF STATE JON HUSTED |
Voting Will Be Uniform and Accessible for Hard-Working Ohioans
Labor Day marks the official end of summer and gives us an opportunity
to celebrate the enduring American work ethic. It also means the

REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION
|

NOTES
& THOUGHTS
FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4,
2012 |
No,
I hadn’t forgotten about the unforgettable UNSPEAKABLE. From my brief
perspective (admittedly only 11 years), the Mime that won’t speak no
matter what has become an icon of the Darke County Fair. Needless to
say, he’s today’s lead story and “Editor’s Photo of the Day.” I wrapped
up my opinion yesterday. Today I pay tribute to a true professional!
Also in Blogs: Romney, Ryan have few convention words for entrepreneurs. News: Brown, Mandel offer sharp contrast on economy; Dems hope Obama speech will have charisma of 2008. Events: Coffee with the Commissioner in Arcanum Saturday. Sports: First time appearances in World 100 common. For
