posted 91,000. Yet the national unemployment rate dropped from 8.3
percent to 8.1 percent. If I remember right, that’s 43 straight months
of unemployment over 8 percent. Regardless, how can... Read

NOTES
& THOUGHTS
FROM
THE EDITOR... ON THE INSIDE - MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10,
2012 |
What’s
to say? September has already been a hugely busy month and we’re only
ten days into it. We barely wrap up the fair and we have Edison classes
starting, local schools starting, the Republican and Democratic
conventions and two months to make one of the most important political
decisions I can remember in recent history. This month’s Republican
Men’s Club Meeting will be Saturday, 8 a.m. at the Darke Republican
Headquarters on North Broadway. Also in Blogs: Economists support Romney. Events: Past GHS Homecoming Queens. News: Injury accident; Ohio solar panel company defaults. Obituaries: Thomas Michael Foley, Michael G. Muhlenkamp. For
