St. Clair Manor a hit prior to Horse Parade

GREENVILLE – “We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a…” the warm
festive smiles of the greeters at St. Clair Manor matched the “up”
strains of the music being played in the formal dining room. The
musician on the electronic keyboard was 10-year-old Kara Strait. “Hot
chocolate and cookies down the hall,” said one of the greeters,

Police respond to assault, rash of burglaries
On Nov. 18 police were dispatched to 219 E. Water St. regarding an
assault complaint. Roxanne Longenecker was moving out of Sharon
Snyder’s house. A dispute started over a microwave Snyder was going to
hold until rent money still owed was paid. Longenecker admitted to
spitting in Snyder’s face and attempting to choke her. Snyder had
