VFW holds fundraiser for Washington trip
On June 1st, 2013, the Greenville VFW Post # 7262 held their first annual golf outing at Turtle Creek Golf Course. The event coordinators were Jodie Klosterman and Debbie Oliver. The proceeds from this event will fund a trip for local veterans to Washington D.C. The trip is scheduled for July 18 – 20, 2013. Due to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, enough money was raised to send eleven (11) members of the Darke County “Honor Guard” on this trip at no expense to them.
