Games, chicken and ice cream highlight Rossburg festival

ROSSBURG – “Nobody goes away empty-handed,” said Carla Cothran after
she awarded a prize to a youngster for tossing a bean bag into a large
basket a couple feet away. Cothran ran the kiddie games portion of the
56th annual Rossburg Ice Cream Social June 1. The prizes are donated by
the community. “We make a big deal out of it,” she said. “I think the
