GREENVILLE – Woodland Primary Principal Andrea Townsend made it clear
that the school wouldn’t be able to function without its volunteers.
She visited informally with more than a dozen volunteers recently
during the school’s Volunteer Appreciation Event at the A&B Coffee

active volunteers who handled a variety of tasks from bookwork and

resident awaits trial on rape charges
GREENVILLE - Ansonia Police Department arrested Ansonia resident Jason
T. Shaw, 26, on a warrant issued by the Darke County Court of Common
Pleas. Shaw was indicted by the Darke County Grand Jury on six counts
of rape of a child under the age of 13, a felony of the first degree.
