Woodland holds Literacy Night for parents and students

GREENVILLE – “Woodland Elementary is a Title 1 building,” said Lisa
Maher, assistant principal. “We receive funding under the program and
one of the requirements is to have a literacy night.” Title 1 funding
provides financial assistance to schools with high percentages of low
income students; the goal to ensure all children meet challenging state
