Nature Day at Shawnee Prairie
What better time to celebrate nature than Earth Day weekend? This year
we have so much packed into Nature Day; we’ve extended the time!
Nature Day will be Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am-3:00pm at Shawnee
Prairie Preserve (4267 State Route 502 West). The Park will be a
flurry of FREE activities , LIVE animals and information from beginning
to end. Stations will be scattered throughout the trails surrounding
the Nature Center encouraging admiration of all things Nature. Children
will have the opportunity to have their “passport” stamped at each

Police make warrant arrests, cite for child endangering
On April 5 police stopped at Circle Mart and the officer noticed a male
subject, Thomas Boner, at the counter. The suspect had a warrant
through Darke County Municipal Court for Failure to Appear on a
Probation Revocation Hearing; original charge DUI (Driving Under the
