Community leaders address drug problem

GREENVILLE – Ten years ago three to five percent of all autopsies
showed death was due to drugs, according to Darke County Coroner Dr.
Tim Kathman. “Last year it was 31 percent… so far this year? All of

One Arrested for Trafficking in Meth in Darke County
On March 12, 2014 the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit
along with Darke County Deputies and officers from the Greenville
Police Department conducted a meth buy/bust operation in Greenville,
Ohio. Arrested was Jesse James Phipps (26) of
Dayton. Phipps was taken into custody without incident and

On Feb. 20 police were dispatched to Shawnee and Wagner Avenues
regarding a pedestrian hit while in the crosswalk. The pedestrian,
