Students build robots; learn life skills
VERSAILLES – “Roboting is the hook we use to get them interested,” said
Head Referee Scott Milligan. FIRST LEGO League challenges students to
think like scientists and engineers… but they have to be motivated.
Roboting does it. Milligan, judges, coaches, volunteers and 10 junior
high school teams convened on the old Versailles High School campus at
8:30 a.m. Nov. 21. Students ran their robots through multiple practice
