Garst Swing Era Vet tribute uplifting
GREENVILLE – “It was raining when they got married… some say it’s good
luck, some say it’s bad. I think it was good,” said Carol Niswonger.
Carol and her brother Robert (Jr.) were honored guests at the Garst
Museum’s Nov. 7 ‘Night at the Garst Canteen,’ which featured the WW II
uniforms of their parents, Robert Sr. and Agnes Carpenter Niswonger.

On November 13, 2015 at approximately 1:10 p.m., a customer at Walmart
was standing at the Customer Service Counter when she was hit from
behind with a grocery cart. The victim turned and said "excuse
