Prairie Days Log House and Blacksmith Shop
Prairie Days will be a flurry of activity at the Log House and
Blacksmith shop at Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Not only will they both be
open, as they are almost every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm, but they also
will both be housing all kinds of demonstrations. The log house was
built from 2003 to 2006 and is based on a 1795-1825 log home. It opened
at the 2006 Prairie Days which makes 2015 the 10th anniversary of the
