Dedication of Treasured Island planned for July 9
You may have noticed a brand new look in the Greenville City Park.
Through the efforts of the non-profit group, Friends of the Greenville
City Parks, the Treasured Island in the large pond has been
restored. Planning and fundraising efforts began last
September. The group held a 50/50 reverse raffle that raised
close to $5000. Donations large and small were received from
those who wished to help. Local VFW Post 7262 donated funds to purchase
