Village of North Star celebrates 75 years of incorporation
North Star- On Tuesday, July 4, the Village of North Star celebrated 75
years of incorporation at the American Legion’s Annual Bean Bake at the
North Star Community Park. An outside ceremony was held at the
shelter house with local church leaders and the colors presented by
Post 174. Bean soup, chili, hot dogs and beverages were available
for lunch. Afterwards, the Community Center was opened for
visitors. Inside, a large display of historical artifacts,
