Grand Opening Set for Bish Discovery Center
Another chapter in the success of your Darke County Parks is about to
begin. The grand opening of the Bish Discovery will take place on
Sunday, July 22 at 1pm. The new discovery center is located at

Call for Entries for October 2018 Art of Recovery Exhibit
The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services is seeking
entries from local artists for its annual Art of Recovery gallery
exhibit to be displayed in the Art Gallery at Edison State Community

Teaford to speak at Annie Oakley Golf Tournament
The 37th annual Annie Oakley Golf Tournament will be held on July
23, 2018 at Turtle Creek Golf Course. This event donates all
proceeds to Cancer Association of Darke County. Golfers will unite to
help local cancer patients and enjoy a day of golfing and a dinner
banquet as well. The speaker this year at the banquet will be Jan
Teaford, a cancer survivor and friend of Cancer Association of

BBBS secures local funding to assist with Mentoring programs
The Harry D. Stephens Memorial fund recently made a donation of $1,617
to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County.
Additionally, the Greenville Rotary Club donated $1,000 to the local
agency. Both of these donations are specific to the Darke County
program and will assist the agency in continuing to serve children in

Auditions scheduled for MCT’s Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs

week-long Missoula Children's Theatre residency offering youngsters the
