A Message from the Greenville Friends of the Library
The officers of the Friends of the Greenville Library (FOL) wish to
thank all its members for their support. As of the end of June,
we have 35 single members, 58 family members, and 14 corporate
members. Our members also provide the goodies for the Holiday
Open House the second Saturday in December. We have a hard

Tourism spending jumps to $74 million annually
GREENVILLE, OH – The Darke County Visitors Bureau released the results
of the recently received 2017 Tourism Economic Report, commissioned by
the Bureau and the state of Ohio and compiled by Tourism Economics, a
division of Oxford Economics Company. The report showed total tourism
spending in the county reached $73.8 million in 2017, a 12.6% increase

Edison State Students Present on Literacy
at Library
According to a 2015 U.S. Department of Education report, 32 million
adults cannot read above the fifth grade level… and one child in four
