Living History Encampment part of Festival weekend
The Darke County Park District will be hosting a Living History
Encampment at Prairie Ridge Meadow in Greenville Ohio on July 27-29,
2018. Friday, July 27, the Encampment will be open from
4pm-10pm. Saturday’s hours are 10am-10pm. Sunday
begins with a church service at 10am and the Gathering opens 11am-5pm.

Tourism spending jumps to $74 million
annually
GREENVILLE, OH – The Darke County Visitors Bureau released the results
of the recently received 2017 Tourism Economic Report, commissioned by
the Bureau and the state of Ohio and compiled by Tourism Economics, a
division of Oxford Economics Company. The report showed total tourism
spending in the county reached $73.8 million in 2017, a 12.6% increase
