BEWARE OF "AUDITOR" SCAM
Recently Carol Ginn, Darke County Auditor sent out reappraisal notice’s
in the mail to Darke County residents. Within a day of the
mailing some county residents were reporting that they were receiving
phone calls from someone referencing the reappraisal and requested
personal information from the party. If you have caller ID on
your phone, it may even say “Auditor’s Office”.
DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE.
