Spending the Future: President’s
Deficit-Filled Budget Threatens Job Growth
John Boehner, U.S. Representative, 8th District
Yesterday, President Obama sent Congress a $3.73 trillion budget that
calls for more failed ‘stimulus’ spending and job-crushing tax hikes on
families and small businesses. The President’s budget destroys
jobs by spending too much, taxing too much, and borrowing too much.
This week, House Republicans will move to create a better environment
for job creation and economic growth. We will go beyond our
Pledge to America and cut at least $100 billion in discretionary
spending over the next seven months. And there will be more cuts

Also in this week’s E-Bulletin you’ll find the times and locations for
my weekly “Open Door” program, as well as the latest on the
job-crushing impact of ObamaCare. Please continue to keep me
updated on the issues that concern you.
Sincerely,
John Boehner

warning about growing government still ring true ... Read More
