Local GOP endorses Detling to replace McClurg

The Darke County Central Committee voted Tuesday night to endorse Juvenile-Probate Court Magistrate Jim Detling to replace retiring Juvenile-Probate Court Judge Mike McClurg. The Committee also voted to send the names of all three applicants to Gov. John Kasich, who will make the decision on the appointment, along with its endorsement.
